I think we need to see a 3D version of your Cowpokin' Cattle Drive... great piece.

Actually there is one--I made a paper mache sculpt of a cattle drive. Can't recall if the painting or sculpture came first. The paper mache is 4 feet long. I'll show it in a future post.

OMG you got me laughing today with the pinhead pinball and "cow herd and poke!" Thank you Steve you are a master, also love the story behind it as well!

Thanks P J!

You are welcome!

He has only one marble left. I'm waiting for it to drop down a hole. Then the little men in white coats with the butterfly nets can catch him and take him away.

I love the stampede! All those bored-looking steers and one bored horse. I guess they've been in that situation before. 🤣

Yet even with all those cattle the most bullshit comes from the Oval Office.

Ya know, one of those steers appears to be missing it's horns.

It's hard to finish the game of war when there's no strategy to be found.

That deaf, dumb & blind man sure plays a mean pinball. Just re-watched "Tommy" and the song just popped into my mind. Perfection!

I would want to hang the cattle on the kitchen wall so I could look at them frequently. Of course, I'd need a new kitchen, as I don't have a free 8x4 space on any wall. Please keep posting more of your amazing animals!

I got the Tommy song stuck in my head for two days after drawing this

I cannot tell a lie. My first thought when I saw the painting was, “Weird—why flesh-colored monkey heads?” until I refocused…. Great art, nonetheless!

Steve Sack's avatar

Monkeyheads...I believe I painted that too.

Excellent. This certainly is not a war on a lazy susan. But maybe a hopefully if that is the word for lardollini to use a lazy epstien distraction. I love his distended and twisted face. Thanks you

As accurate an illustration of his thought process as any.
